If you are looking for something to do while you are visiting Tatamagouche and the surrounding area look no further, we've got you covered. From live music, shopping, eating & drinking, day adventures or entertaining the kids, have a peek below for some guided suggestions.

Locals know best when it comes to what's good. If you are here on a Saturday morning be sure to hit up the Farmer's Market at the Creamery Square and the Grain Elevator next door for some great local produce and crafts. Looking for a quick grab & go bite to eat? Stop into Dexter's Butcher Block 6 days a week for a custom made sandwich.

The truly adventurous will want to visit Drysdale Falls. It's a spectacular view but don't be fooled, it has seen its fair amount of tragedy, be careful and please be respectful, stick to following the river to the falls and don't trespass on the local landowners property. If you still have time and energy you might want to hit the Great Trail with a buggy ride from Remember Adventures or maybe go for a hike on the Rogart Mountain Trail at Sugar Moon Farm.

Kids just wanna have fun...and they can if you take them to Nelson Park for the playground equipment. There is also some equipment available at Tatamagouche Regional Academy if you want to stay closer. Be sure to catch a ride on the Tata Road Train that runs throughout the summer months. Also, a visit to the Heritage Centre at Creamery Square (it has a great exhibit kids enjoy) is a must as well as the Grist Mill & the Sutherland Steam Mill just outside the village. If you want to take a quick drive to River John when leaving the Steam Mill you can stop into Lismore Sheep Farm to pet the sheep (also a great shop for the parents) and Mabel Murple's Book Shoppe & Dreamery.

Tatamagouche might not be Paris but we make it work and so can you. First things first, if possible, make sure you have a table booked at the Railway Dining Car for your evening meal. Don't forget to stop into Appleton Chocolates and grab a sweet for later.
